APPEARANCE: Ted is a pretty good looking man. He's going gray a little bit, but it works for him. He's not in the best of physical shape, he doesn't dress in the best or most expensive clothing. His smile is a little bit crooked. But he still carries himself with pride. Even if it is a quiet sort of pride.
PHYSICAL QUIRKS: He may have hidden tattoos. He may not. You'll probably never know. He also talks with a slight lisp.
SPECIAL ABILITIES: Ted is brilliant when it comes to numbers. Especially numbers that have to do with money.
RELATIVES: He had a wife, Deb, they're now divorced. He has two daughters. Charlie is kind of family now, too.

TELL US SOMETHING WE DON'T KNOW: Ted admires Charlie quite a bit, and occasionally thinks to ask him about the Zen thing, to try to learn it. He's also a pretty damned good cook.
HISTORY: Ted was a very successful financier before he got caught embezzling from pension funds. He lived the life of fast cars, private jets and lots of women. When he was caught, the judge decided to make an example of him, and had him sent to a maximum security prison, where he met Charlie Crews. Charlie took Ted under his wing and even saved his life once. Cementing Ted's loyalty to him completely.
Ted got out of prison before Charlie did, and found himself in a bad situation. Between his divorce, the civil suits and the fines, Ted had no money left over at all. And no place to live. It wasn't until Charlie got out of prison and was awarded his settlement that Ted had a real place to go. Charlie offered him a home in exchange for Ted taking care of his finances.
Ted invests Charlie's money the best that he can, and pulls the strings to make sure that Charlie gets everything that he wants. Like orchards. And solar farms.
Recently a dirty government agent got Ted thrown back into prison. Planting drugs in his vehicle at a routine traffic stop. He's been taken care of by friend's of Charlie's so far, but it doesn't mean that he enjoys any part of it.
PERSONALITY: Ted is a quiet guy. A little bit shy. He's not very forceful with much of anything, except maybe when it comes to keeping Charlie Crews safe. He'll attempt to be insistent if he thinks it's in Charlie's best interest. He didn't used to be quiet so shy before he went to prison. But being locked up in max security can do many strange things to a man. Ted is also very humble.
He works well with Charlie, because he doesn't mind the strange ways of living, or the women. He might get a little envious once in a while, but because of his past, it's not something that he really wants anymore. Perhaps out of guilt. Ted has a lot of guilt and regret over the things that he did.
